The Gus Report

I don't usually use my blog space to go after individuals, but today I make an exception. My union, Teamsters Local 320, has hired an IT guy by the name of Gus Froemke. By all accounts he is well educated, except in life. As part of his job, it appears he is a well paid mercenary for Internet attacks on people he doesn't know and has never met. People who have done great things in the labor movement. Things like, secured corrections officers a 55 retirement, got my bargaining unit paid holidays and passed the Bloodborne Pathogens Bill making my profession safer. These people are your targets, Gus.

The article touches on many of the same points I argued when I declared that Change to Win has failed its primary mission. I wanted to expand the perspective as to demonstrate that I have no real animosity towards the Change to Win federation, I simply recognized its inability to organize on a massive scale and its questionable priorities.

Gus, you were right, Change to Win (Teamsters) has failed it's primary mission, they not only can't organize on a massive scale they are hemorrhaging members because of their questionable priorities. Questionable priorities you now espouse for money.

Unions form and grow that represent their members, not ones that tell members what is best for them and then that attack those members with differing opinions.

Why am I targeting you? You have attacked my friends and just this last week I had Google remove a fake profile pretending to be me that I believe you created. So Gus, while you write your profound thoughts about the Labor Movement in your blogs, take the time to look in the mirror and realize you sold out the Labor movement for money.
