Teamsters Local 320 gets booted out

On October 28th, 2011, Teamsters Local 320 was voted out by the members of four bargaining groups in favor of the Minnesota Public Employees Association.

These groups were the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office Detention Deputies and Telecomunicators, the Washington County Corrections Officers , the City of Albert Lea , and Freeborn County.

This is the Labor Movement in action. If the Union leadership isn't doing the job the members will get someone who will!

What led to this? Here's a couple of posts that will give you an inkling why.

Oh, did I mention Teamsters only received 1 vote from my shop?

I wonder if protest can be possible. Makes me think twice.
